River Flows in You Tanja Ackerman – Inspired by Yiruma’s “River Flows in You,” my original acrylic painting on artist quality Fabriano paper, is a testament to my synaesthetic perception of music expressed as colour and pattern. The paper is awash in various shades of green, creating a serene and verdant backdrop that evokes the gentle flow of a tranquil river.

At the forefront of the composition, intricate and detailed fine black lines weave across the surface with meticulous precision. These lines form a visual tapestry that mirrors the delicate nuances and rhythmic patterns of the piano piece. Each line seems to dance and sway in harmony with the music, capturing the fluidity and emotional depth of the melody.
