In my painting I have used a monoprint from my palette. I then formed it into a composition.

The title comes after. The pink shapes in the centre reminded me of an image I saw many years ago in the River Murray. It was of defoliated trees, engulfed by flood waters. There are no water lilies in the River Murray. I hope they survived.
