Unseasonal Summer rains turn a once dry river bed into a raging torrent. I was inspired by the fast flowing water and decided to render it alla prima style, directly, spontaneously and with plenty of texture. This beautiful Karri tree forest is located in south Western Australia.

Artist quality oil paint on professional grade stretched canvas. The sides are 4cm thick and are painted consistent with the color scheme of the subject.
