INFLUENCE:

These little gems have been created with the memory of the fabulous waters off the Mornington Peninsula situated on the South-East Coast of Australia. It is visited by Australian fur seals, whales and dolphins, as well as many migratory waders and seabirds. It is listed under the Ramsar Convention as a wetland of international significance. Its also a beachcomber’s paradise with the back beach’s rich with Rockpool treasures and beautiful sandy shorelines with inviting tranquil waters. Often as a child I would spend many holidays exploring those rock pools and discovering wonderful shells while sinking my toes into the soft warm wet sand.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Quality acrylics used giving long lasting rich pigmentation/lustre. Designed on acid free environmentally unbleached cotton duck, triple coated with universal primer and gallery style folded corners. Protective Matte Varnish applied to protect work. As with any “Poured Acrylic” work, the colour has extended down each side of the canvas. The surface of the painting has a slight textured surface encouraging the viewer to touch and feel the art. Each painting measures 20 x 20cm.
