This original oil painting on canvas is inspired by Convent Beach, a small protected bay right in the heart of Yamba, NSW. It is fringed by pandanus trees and protected by headlands on each side. This painting focuses on the rocks that edge the beach with the foamy waves reaching towards the shore. I love to paint the different hues of the water and the movement of waves, and have used both brushes and a palette knife to show texture and shape.

The painting is ready to hang in an oak timber frame which measures 43 cm x 33 cm.
