Inspired by the ocean and the feeling of salt water on my skin…I created this artwork while listening to one of my favourite songs called Saltwater…

A new experimental series of abstract beachscapes and landscapes using thick layers of acrylic to create texture and movement.

I’ve given myself the freedom to play and experiment in the studio and this has been an intensely satisfying excercise and a fresh new direction for my art. The interesting thing is that I am using the same tools, paint and colours with the results being so different yet still very familiar to my original style.

Artwork sides are painted white and it comes with a wire across the back ready to hang on the wall.
