Scarlet Skies by Lucinda Leveille is part of the  ‘Above The Canopy” series of work.

“This is not easy for you to understand for you that come from a distant land, where all the colours are low in pitch – deep purples, emeralds deep and rich, Where Autumn’s flaming and summer’s green – Here is a beauty you have not seen” – The Colours of Light by Dorothy MacKeller.

Since  the culling of the trees outside my studio window except for the lonely gum tree, it is hard to imagine painting any other subject at the moment – but I’m reveling working in the beautiful rich and vibrant colours of Australia. This is a small work – 30 x 30 cm and is already framed with a deep 5cm floating oak frame.

If you love this piece but it doesn’t quite suit your space, I would be delighted to work with you to produce an artwork that will work for you and your home, I enjoy commissions and it’s always great to know that this is something uniquely yours.

The paintings are signed on the front with my name ‘Lucinda’ and come with a Certificate of Authenticity.  Please be assured that I only use quality products for my works.

The artwork is on gallery style stretched canvas and the colour is continued round the sides, this piece is ready to hang with an Australian Oak floating frame approximately 5 cm deep.

The piece will arrive cocooned in bubble wrap and packed within a sturdy cardboard container, carefully protected for the journey.
