This is a very light and tranquil abstract painting. When I start a new painting, I usually don’t have a set plan or a specific image in mind. Quite often, I have no idea where it will take me or what will emerge. Painting is a journey, and sometimes I lose myself in the process. I began this painting with fluid acrylic inks flowing around the canvas, forming organic combinations and patterns. It felt like water, and I envisioned the sea—water splashing, a light breeze, white foam around my feet, and the fresh salty air.

For the next stage, I wanted to introduce some patterns using stencils and an airbrush. It was in this stage that not only subtle organic abstract patterns appeared but also some floral ones. The gentle, soft nature of petals and the calm, restful sea seemed to blend together in this painting. Then, I started forming little bubbles—tiny windows filled with tranquil colours and patterns. It felt like sea foam—small, airy pockets of the sea. The resulting painting is a calm and restful piece, delicate and gentle like sea foam.

This painting is created in many layers with high quality lightfast acrylic paint. The edges are painted in white to match the background. It’s varnished and ready to be displayed for years to come.
