‘One thing I notice when I visit home now – is the quiet. The silence is peaceful. Broken on occasion only by the gentle call of the birds that live nearby, and the rustle of the bushes as Walby(the resident wallaby!) bounds past, or a howl of wind ripping through the forest. I find peace in the silence here.’
