Influence:

Seaspray, perhaps my most fave stretch of untouched beach in Victoria.

A small coastal town in Victoria, Australia, in the Gippsland region of the state boasting a general store and caravan park. With its golden shores and the soothing sound of crashing waves, this piece of paradise is very memorable to me having spent much of my childhood holidaying here.

Whether it was fishing with my dad or building sand castles with my mum and brother, I remember those sand dunes we had to climb over before we got to that magic shoreline. They seemed so big and so tall. Sometimes we would be lucky to find a trail which made life a little easier. The many sand grasses and pig face which covered those dunes were very special.

This piece of art has been inspired by those memories with this  “snapshot” being typical of those dunes which adorned that magic 90 Mile Beach.

 

Specifications:

Quality acrylics used giving long lasting rich pigmentation/lustre. Designed on acid free environmentally unbleached cotton duck, triple coated with universal primer, heavy duty stretcher bars were used to reduce warping. Protective Matte Varnish applied. Signed by the artist and ready to hang.
