The striking colours chosen for this work were the motivating factor. Spending hours mixing hues and intensities, these colours were a standout and begged to be placed together in synthesis. Trialling just the right amount of medium to create the most appropriate flow for the paint to be smeared and swirled, emphasizing one colour and then the next. Working on this canvas from all sides and finally deciding on the current orientation.

FRAME:
Bespoke custom framing in Tasmanian Oak, finished in Scandinavian oil, enhancing uniqueness of grain and ensuring lasting protection. Crafted with precision by experienced artisan.

RECESSED FLOATING FRAME:

A design where the canvas extends beyond the frame, creating an immersive effect that draws the artwork into the viewers space.

Artwork is varnished, providing protection against environmental factors whilst enhancing the pigments in colours.
