It’s a masked version of oneself, trying to be more youthful or less ‘something else’. This has been carefully curated like other parts of ourselves that we present in new situations, curated to keep the unpalatable aspects of life out of view (signified here by the rope).

I made a decision to cover the eyes, for the eyes represent truth to me and here, she is hidden.

I am curious to what this piece will speak to others.
