Sue began painting this from where she stayed in the little town of Seventeen Seventy, (named for when Captain Cook first set foot on Australian soil in the year of 1770) and completed the painting at home.  She set out to capture the sparkling sunshine on the water coming towards the shore and trees.

The sides are dark blue and the painting is ready to hang with the signature on the back.
