My latests inspiration/obsession…. Mid Century Modernism. This painting reminds me of olives and ice cubes bouncing around in a martini. I love playing around with these off-beat shapes and colours that are inspired by 50’s and 60’s architecture and art. It would have been such an exciting time to be creating new ideas. The freedom to design whatever your mind can come up with has helped me break out from the norm, and avoid the mainstream. These might not suit the beige, cream, off-white styles that I see in most interiors, but they will definitely make an impact. Lots of fun, and most importantly….lots of colour!
