‘Shimmering Light’ by Cecilia Bell.

As Summer approaches, the light is changing in intensity, often filling the room with a beautiful dazzling light. I was inspired by the colour and light shimmering on these everyday objects. I enjoy including vases or objects in my still life paintings, from my collection of vintage or antique ephemera. I’ve always had a love of retro china and ceramics.
