Additional Information

Shining Through was painted during a season of deep personal transformation, times of darkness and shadows. The life-pulse I felt in the natural elements of my environment pushed their way through into the work. Love of nature was initially expressed through splashed colours; wild, untamed and spontaneous…. followed by a more considered process of observing trees, leaves and light which guided the organic layers in the work.

I aim to evoke aesthetic and emotional experiences; channelling messages of beauty, hope and appreciation.
