“Shinrin Yoku” is another of my mixed media artworks addressing the recurring themes of freedom, joy, and liberation. “Shinrin You” is a Japanese terming coined in the 80s meaning “Forest Bathing” – basically, it means to escape the stresses of city living and this technological age by immersing ourselves in nature. I enjoyed experimenting with abstraction of the garden landscape in this work.
