Her piece Silent Battle reflects the quiet struggles we all carry – within our bodies, our minds, and our moods. These struggles can be moments of doubt, sadness, or the challenges that come with aging and life transitions, such as parenthood.
Drawing on the philosophy of wabi-sabi, which teaches acceptance of both circumstances and self, Sanae created this work as a space to hold those feelings, experiences, and even memories of achievement –Â a reminder that our silent battles shape who we are.
