Living in Asia many years ago still inspires Pamela’s artworks. She loves the colour and the mood.

This piece, ‘Sitting on the Fence’ was envisioned during a return visit to Laos where the monks were very apparent daily in the streets and in every part of life in Luang Prabang in Northern Laos where she was staying.
The mood imparted by the presence of so many of these amber robed figures with the local people paying homage was peaceful and serene.
Pamela wanted to recapture a piece of that calmness to remind her of that time in her life.
