This artwork is part of the “Heirloom Seeds Collection’ of small studies that embody the colour, vibrancy, relaxation and earthiness of a lush, lazy, Mexican inspired landscape.

“One of my favourite places on earth is Museo Frida Kahlo “Casa Azul” in Coyoacán, Mexico City. I visited Frida & Diego’s magnificent oasis garden in the middle of the old city multiple times. I am drawn to botanicals of all types and find succulents and Cacti really fascinating. They are tough and resilient, they symbolise strength and protection but they are also strangely attractive with their odd shapes and textures. And then there are the flowers…surprising, fleeting and beautiful.”
