Snow Cones: by Brendan Walsh (ColdGhost)

Available exclusively at Art Lovers Australia

This original mixed media artwork was created on recycled cardboard & continues my experimentation with using different techniques to apply the paint. The work was created using Sponges, rags, plastic, scrapers, paint pens, spray packs, in fact anything except brushes.

The work is directly influenced by Graffiti in City Laneways, Vintage Billboards and other weathered surfaces. The work is also inspired by my love of gestural abstraction and my obsession with using spray paint.

This artwork has a textured finish created by built up layers of cardboard, paper and paint, a visual effect mimicking the look you would see in the street where this effect is created over time on Graffiti Walls & Advertising Spaces, Insitu examples are not to scale.

The work comes in a white frame and is ready to hang.
