“Through the profound darkness, penetrated the light”

Drawn to move paint around on canvas, trusting the intuitive process – the art was born. It was as if a star exploded in the sky and impressed itself onto a canvas. The creative process started with a dark and deep background, and then the solar flares emerged from the dark.

I name my paintings, however, my desire is for each person to take what they will from the art – what I believe to be about art is that it is truly in the eye of the beholder. To me, the point of art is to evoke a feeling, and I invite you to create your own feeling and imagery with the piece.

I do not sign the artworks as this allows the piece to be hung in either portrait or landscape, depending on your space and the impact you would like to make. This also allows for a different look at a different time in a different space, if so desired, to make it the perfect fit depending on the mood.
