“Solitude” – by Sharon Rynehart

This emotive moody seascape was created on a rainy Winter’s afternoon when I was craving time out from life. Life that was thrown into turmoil with the recent passing of my dad. I needed solitude. Time to be quiet, still, reflect, remember, mourn…heal. This seascape came to life, reminiscent of a place we used to holiday at frequently on the South Coast of NSW. Moody yet peaceful, tempest yet quiet, stormy yet comforting, this seascape allowed me to escape and find the solitude I was craving. I hope it resonates with you too.

Created with palette knives on artist quality cotton stretched canvas, it is framed in solid Tas Oak, satin varnished, and comes with a COA. There is a white woodgrain frame option also…if you’d prefer the white at no extra charge, please get in touch at time of purchasing.
