Solitude in Bloom by Uma Barry – Hi everyone, this painting titled ‘Solitude In Bloom’, I really wanted to capture the quiet strength and serenity of a single water lily rising above its surroundings. Painting this piece was a meditative process, each stroke on the lily pads and the reflections in the water allowed me to slow down and observe the stillness that nature offers. The golden bloom, softly lit and gently unfolding, became a symbol of inner peace. I was drawn to the contrast between the flower’s delicate radiance and the rich, earthy tones of the surrounding lily pads.
