I really adore this quote – Solitude is the richness of self – May Sarton. It could have so many different meanings – but I choose to take from this that when alone you enjoy your own space and feel fulfilled being there. Reflecting on the painting – I found I felt very ‘at home’ in this visual space and in my own world. Perhaps this piece might speak to you too.

The paintings are signed on the front with my name ‘Lucinda’ and come with a Certificate of Authenticity. I only use Artist quality materials in the creation of my artwork – archival, quality paper for my watercolours, well prepared supports for my oil paintings and both are painted using artist quality pigments.
The piece will arrive cocooned in bubble wrap and packed within a sturdy cardboard container, sometimes recycled ( I do like to recycle when I can!), any glass will be taped to help prevent breakage, it may not be the prettiest on the outside but the contents will arrive safe and sound.
