The Soul Seed Series began when I looked at my large signature paintings and wondered: What is within those ‘spirals’ if we zoomed in?

What are the initial seeds and intentions that sprouts into the unfolding stories that are seen in my signature artworks?

These Soul Seeds is full of the chaotic colours and marks like all the potential and possibility that seeds hold.

The repetitive patterns and lines hold that tension as outlines barely holding in what wants to burst out of those seeds. Each line, each repeated mark honors those daily, simple steps that is taken in order to plant those seeds and allow it to grow.

Those repeated marks may be unseen, until you look closer. Just like many of the moments & actions we take is easily dismissed as mundane & simple but it all adds up into the complex & majestic ‘oak trees’ of our lives
