An oversized Splendid Fairy Wren is central and surrounded by a repeating and mirrored pattern of flowering gums and bottlebrush flowers with gumnuts and leaves filling remaining space. The larger than life wren is filled with feathery details and areas of exaggerated shapes.

The lino is expressively designed and carved to have a flow and energy with a balance of open areas and tighter details.

Hand pulled print using archival quality oil based blue-black ink on 250gsm cotton rag paper

Numbered, titled and signed on the reverse.

Artwork measures 54.5×74.5cm plus border with two deckled edges on the vertical sides.
