Koala Cookie Jar is a functional ceramic piece by Stephen Baxter. Each piece is unique and hand crafted from porcelain, clear glaze and underglaze colours. One piece in an ongoing series of ceramic works with the much loved Australian character of Blinky Bill as the initial inspiration. In this rendition of the reinvented Blinky Bill character, Blinky is wearing Goofy boots and has Mickey Mouse hands with gloves. One hand displays the Peace sign the other saluting. He also wears a bright red heart on his chest. The bright luscious colours of the decoration on the piece become luminous due to the crystal clear porcelain glaze. The cookie jar is functional and washable in warm soapie water.
