One of my favourite  places in Cyprus is The Valley of The Kings where there are many ruins of underground tombs and buildings that you can explore. I’m fascinated by the work, expertise and dedication ancient cultures performed and so happy we are able to see some of this beauty, even in ruined form. I like to imagine who was there before me, how they spent their time etc. I set this still life in one of the alters/alcoves with replicas of objects found at this and similar sights.
