This still life has a wide variety of colours and textures. The blue jar acts as a counterpoint to the natural players in the scene. I have spent many hours immersing myself in the Dutch Masters, enjoying not only their mastery of oils but in particular the balance and harmony of the still lifes they create. As a result I hope this photographic work has a painterly feel. The visual richness of grapes, pomegranates and walnuts set the scene but I think the star is the Bosc pear.

This image is printed on archival canvas, guaranteed against fading for one hundred years. Box Framed in Tasmanian Oak. Personally signed and editioned on the reverse.
