Still Life with White Square Flowers by Emma Kelly

This artwork depicts many flowers in a vase.  What makes the painting stand-out is the use of geometric white flowers and circular blue flowers.  The background is in various pink and yellow hues.  The vase also has a geometric aspect to it with bold lines and rectangles.  Emma is heavily influenced by Margaret Preston who uses block prints for her work.

This painting is a one-off, original stand-alone painting.  Overall the painting invites the onlooker to look at color and Still Life in a different way with the use of contrast, composition and color.

The painting is 50.5cm height x 51cm width.  It is on stretched canvas and unframed.

  • The painting is one-of-kind hand painted original
  • Titled on the back
  • Comes with a statement of Authenticity
  • Comes  packed with protective cardboard wrapped in bubble wrap
  • Initialed at the front of the painting in the bottom right-hand corner

Emma is a new emerging artist in Australia pursuing art as more than a hobby since 2025.   She has been selected as a finalist in numerous art competitions and exhibited in Sydney, Melbourne, Newcastle and Canberra. She is also the winner of the Feel Good Art Prize 2025 in Hawthorne Melbourne.
