Street Icon 177 – Ned Kelly

Street Icon Urban Art Pop mixed media Painting. This original artwork is made using Recycled Street Posters & other Recycled Paper Materials, it takes it’s inspiration from City Laneways and Billboards. The main collage images of Ned were overlayed with Acrylic Paint, Spray Packs, Stencils & Paint Pens.

Some of my works are also inspired by Mexican Art and Outsider Art, and have Elements of Religious Iconography and Sacred Geometry.

The Painting comes Framed in Black and is mounted under a clear acrylic sheet.

This artwork has a textured finish created by built up layers, paint splatters and torn paper, a visual effect mimicking the look you would see in the street where it is created over time. These imperfections are part of the overall look and feel of the finished work.
