This artwork is inspired by the rich, harmonious hues of red and crimson—analogous colours that evoke warmth, love, and connection. Guided by these tones, my brushstrokes began to flow intuitively across the surface. At times, I painted with a brush in each hand, moving them simultaneously in mirrored gestures. This process, combined with the emotive palette, felt like being wrapped in an overwhelming embrace—hence the painting’s title.
I also love how the fluorescent paint casts its own subtle glow, lending a sense of lightness and ethereality to the background.

Artwork is varnished, providing protection against environmental factors whilst enhancing the pigments in colours.

Bespoke custom framing in Tasmanian Oak, finished in Scandinavian oil, enhancing uniqueness of grain and ensuring lasting protection. Handcrafted with precision by experienced artisan.
