“Submerged” by Wayne Clayton is part of my recent original abstract works inspired from holidays with my family in North Queensland. Living amongst some of the most amazing and beautiful scenery there is.
Rainforest on one side and the Great Barrier Reef on the other.

“Through The Rainforest” is a series of alcohol ink works inspired by my many walks through the rainforest while there on holidays.

I love working with inks, they are almost uncontrollable to use with their watery consistency and how fast they dry, but the beauty I find working with this medium is you can reactive them just by adding alcohol and than the story can begin again. Layer upon layer using different techniques to achieve the finished piece.
