This work is inspired by my Mums garden. Always so much life, full of natures artworks. Carnations in bloom with colour and aromas that delight the senses. Also inspired by Van Goghs flower still lifes.
Blue carries with it the connotation of calmness. It stands for desire, love, and the metaphysical striving for the infinite and unreachable. It symbolises hope and the beauty of things.
Painted with brushes and palette knives for textured mark making and vivid colour.
Ready to hang with sides painted white to reflex your wall colour. The blue tape on the back covers the bar code stuck to the wood panel 🙂
