Summer started with one of my wild, wacky layered intuitive bases in a limited colour palette of pinks, purple, white and silvery grey.

I started Summer’s portrait with a little negative space painting in dark purple then moved on to create her angular style facial features using a bold colour combination of pinks, oranges, reds with a touch of green and brown to add further detail.

Her floral headdress was created with layers of flowers and foliage using different techniques and mediums, softening her angular features.  A touch of yellow breaking up the original colour palette.

Summer requires framing to hang therefore my art gallery photos include examples of how she could look framed and hung.
