“Sun Drift” by Sharon Rynehart

Country roads at sunset really are like no other. As the sun begins it’s slow descent over winding roads and lush valleys, I can’t help but feel a sense of peace, quiet solitude, and gratitude for simple fleeting moments of reflection.

Fading light wraps the picturesque scenery dotted with grazing animals and canopied trees, in a warm, golden embrace. As thick green fields fringe cool waterways, and ranges and valleys stretch to the horizon, the world feels open to new possibility’s – but at the same time, stands almost perfectly still. Here, in the face of untouched beauty, as the sun drifts last rays over the earth, I find sanctuary, solace and contentment.

Created with palette knives on 12 oz stretched cotton canvas, this beautifully warm landscape has been framed in a solid Oak timber frame, satin varnished, and comes with a COA.

Thank you for pausing to view “Sun Drift”.

NB: While every effort is made to capture the true colours and details of my artwork, every screen is different and art viewed online does not do my work justice. Slight differences may be evident between a screen image and the true tone and textures of my work, which is more vivid and beautiful in reality. Scale may also be slightly off due to the insitu art app used, so please ensure you measure your space.
