Sun, Moon and Stars by Peter Masters fine art photographer – The dandelion is the only flower that represents the three celestial bodies of the sun, moon and stars. The yellow flower resembles the sun, the puff ball symbolises the moon and the dispersing seeds resemble the stars. Up until the 1800’s people would pull grass out of their lawns to make room for dandelions. We make wishes when we help the seeds to float away and they have always symbolised hope and love.
