This figurative work features a figure taken from an original photo from the 80’s. The work is one of a series. The figure is nude but not exposed. “Sunburn” is a familiar memory for those of us who grew up before sunscreen other than Zinc cream was available.
The skin tones and navy striped sheets blend perfectly with the deep, raw oak timber frame.
The work is protected with Langridge, satin varnish.
