Sunflowers by Sue Hill.   Sue loves sunflowers and this little mixed media painting started with an abstracted background of geometric coloured shapes and forms made with gel medium and cut out paper bits glued to the canvas.  Sue added patches of acrylic over this textured surface.  She sealed it and allowed the painting to dry before painting an arrangement of flowers over the top.  This allowed some colours to come through and breaks up hard lines.

Sue has sealed the painting with matt medium varnish and signed it on the back.   The edges are painted black and it is wired and ready to hang.
