Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens are beautiful at anytime of the day, but at first light in the early morning they can be just magical. Birds wake and take flight, the mist rises from the lake, the colours and shapes of the gardens begin to appear. All this happens most days but very few people are to see it all unfold as on this day. It’s wonderful to witness and capture.
