This work explores the emotion of surrendering to a higher purpose, be it a career or a belief or a mission, there is something so undefined in the surrendering. An emotion of being part of something bigger than oneself. It is an exploration of abstractionism and painted in the style of abstract expressionism.

I like using acrylics as the colours blend so well together. This work has glittery dried acrylic as well, one image shows, side on, the effect. It is designed to catch the light.

This work is painted on 12 oz gallery canvas and has been sealed with varnish. The canvas is hand stretched onto a frame is 122 cm in height by 183 cm in width.
