This estuarine fern has adapted to saltwater environments making it a common native species found across most of Australia. Located around swamp and wetland areas, the swamp water fern provides a beautiful flowing and patterned outline throughout the landscape.

Created with a palette inspired by the understory layer in which it is found, ‘Swamp Water Fern Moment I’ features deep shadowy tones dappled with sunlit highlights. When combined with its sister pieces, ‘Swamp Water Fern Moment II’ and ‘Swamp Water Fern Moment III’ this artwork creates a beautiful bush-scape of quiet undergrowth within a space.
