Artist Statement: Blue is so beautiful and the garden is full of beautiful flowers that have grown despite my neglect and its here I have all my important moments with those I love, where we yarn, sip gin, watch the children play and the flowers sing along with the children.

This work is acrylic on 100X200cm unstretched fine Belgian linen, signed on the front and sent with an artist cv and certificate of authenticity.

All my work is sealed with a conservationist Gloss Varnish and is painted on Fine Belgian Linen (except for a few on canvas). Linen provides a much better finish for the paint and is longer lasting than canvas so gives the painting posterity and the conservationist quality varnish means that you can wipe the painting free of dust if you need to which will also preserve its life. Because the varnish is stupidly expensive I usually don’t varnish a work until it is sold and this can delay it being sent off by a day or two while the varnish dries.

The work is sent Unstretched (this is taken into account in the price – framed images are to give an idea of what it looks like framed as opposed to simply stretched) in a roll ready for stretching and or framing. It is much safer for work to travel in a roll and then be delivered to you by the framer.

All works are painted on the sides so if hung stretched without an exterior frame it will still look lovely from any angle (no ugly white sides). Framers charges vary greatly. If you need assistance with stretching and framing you can contact me or artlovers. I use mobile framing on the east coast.

All work over 100cm is sent via Pack and Send and under 100cm is sent via Australia Post Express
