Swept As A Sea Bird Out To Sea by Lucinda Leveille is another painting in the series exploring the solitary, hopefully capturing a feeling of quiet stillness. The name of this piece comes from a quote by Sara Teasdale –

“There is the windy flood of morning

Longing lifted its weight from me,

Lost as a sob in the midst of cheering,

Swept as a sea-bird out to sea”.

I find the imagery of sea birds over water calming, as they ride the currents – it must be quite peaceful but a solitary experience.

The paintings are signed on the front with my name ‘Lucinda’ and come with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Only artist quality materials are used to produce these artworks.

The piece will arrive cocooned in bubble wrap and packed within a sturdy cardboard container, sometimes recycled ( I do like to recycle when I can! ), any glass will be taped to help prevent breakage, it may not be the prettiest on the outside but the contents will arrive safe and sound.
