Swimming Spot by Rosemary Legat – Acrylic paint, acrylic ink, spray paint and water colour crayons.

Started this delightful piece by applying intuitive layers of yellow, orange and blue acrylic paint and ink followed by stencilled markings in similar colour palette.  As further layers applied thoughts of a special swimming spot came to mind therefore further layers added to develop the thoughts that had conjured in my mind.

Stencils used to create this unique piece were designed and created by myself.

The many layers provide texture, depth, interest and evoke thoughts of the viewer wishing they could jump right in.

Sides of the canvas are painted in black acrylic paint with a hint of blue.

Swimming Spot would add interest, colour and warmth to any chosen space.
