The good thing about acrylic paint is that it dries quickly, the bad thing about acrylic paint is that it dries quickly. Alternatively, the good thing about oil paint is that it dries slowly, the bad thing about oil paint is that it…. Dries slowly. Why is this important? It means that I can’t really paint my fish with acrylic paint. This acrylic painting started off as an attempt at a fish painting with colourful coral, but I had to keep adding more and more paint, so it has ended up as a very colourful abstract painting of coral(?). The good thing is that it is dry! And it will certainly brighten up any room.
