Tea time at The Block originally named the Hopetoun Tearooms situated on Collins street Melbourne, with its stunning etched mirror & beautiful wallpaper. In this piece I used fragments of paper together with the main mosaic design from the centre of one of the floor panels entering thru Elizabeth street. Mixed media with inks, paint, collage & memories of dining & eating cucumber sandwiches & scones jam & cream. I remain passionate about the arcade & for 20 years I owned a business in the arcade introducing the stunning mosaic floor onto Italian made silk scarves & accessories.
