This piece is along the same theme as previous work as it is a theme I enjoy so much. Like many artists i like to revisit themes, tweaking here and there!

I remember so well our recent trip to Gippsland, my face pressed against the glass looking out. The vast expanse of this beautiful country opened up to us. The sky is magic, alive, pregnant with possibilities. Is there a storm brewing? I am calm, yet unsettled.

This piece is painted with layers to create texture. Crackle texture has been encouraged and wide sweeps of the palette knife have been used.

Influenced by the great tradition of Australian landscape artist.

The sides are painted in a wrap around style which makes framing optional. Ready to hang.
