This painting has had many layers of acrylic scenes painted and stripped back. Some areas show texture giving the piece a more visually interesting aspect.

The story behind this piece was greatly influenced by living by the ocean. Many items which “live”  on our shoreline are subject to many weather conditions. Calm smooth sun filled days to blustery unforgiving storm raging windswept torrents. My painting reflects these conditions showing erosion caused by these weather conditions over time.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Quality acrylics and Inks used giving long lasting rich pigmentation/lustre. Designed on acid free environmentally unbleached cotton duck, triple coated with universal primer and gallery style folded corners. Protective Matte Varnish applied to protect work. The surface of the painting has a textured surface encouraging the viewer to touch and feel the art. Painting is an original design signed by the artist.
